WELCOME TO

DOGS OF GREAT BRITAIN

This incredible project gives YOU the opportunity to have your dog’s portrait taken in the most amazing, iconic locations! Places you could only dream of that don’t normally allow photography.

The project is the creation of renowned dog photographer Gerry Slade. In September 2025 Gerry was privileged and honoured to take portraits of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s beloved corgis. He was previously extremely flattered to be chosen to be a part of the Team GB entry for the very prestigious World Photographic Cup.

The search is now on for dogs (and their owners) to be photographed during the coming year. Where would be your dream location? Perhaps you’re an avid supporter of a particular sports team? Or maybe you love aircraft? Or a particular make of car? The list is endless, let us know on the application form and if you are selected we will make it happen. We are also working on a number of ideas of our own for amazing opportunities for shoots, follow us on social media to see where we will be!

Successful applicants will be photographed by Gerry in your dream location and  in return for this you will be asked to make a minimum donation of £50 to Hero Paws and The National Children’s Air Ambulance. Your donation will be split equally between the charities.
